Who we are?

We are a Spanish Language School (Cervantes Accredited) located in the city of Cadiz, for more information on our school, please visit: www.spanishincadiz.com

Many of our students are erasmus students so we decided to make our residence available to all erasmus students that decide to come to Cadiz.

What does the monthly or weekly rent cover?

All house utilities (water, gas , electricity and internet).

How dow I reserve a room?

Visit our reservation page. Fill-out the info. and we will get back to you asap.

When do I have to arrive to my accommodation?

All tenants arrive on sundays at around 19:30. If, for some reason - you need to arrive a couple of days earlier or a couple of days later -let us know beforehand to arrange an arrival time.

Where do I have to go when I arrive on sunday to Cadiz?

You will make your way to Calle Montañes 18. For a detail map, visit our location page. Once there a Housing Staff member will let you in. The next day you will have to come to our Head Office to formalize the agreement by signing a rental contract with us.

Once I have sent the reservation - what happens?

We will look at the reservation details and send you two emails. One with the reservation info. and a second email with detail instructions on how to go about paying the 250 euro deposit.

What is the deposit for?

The deposit is used for your reservation and upon arrival it will be used towards your weekly or monthly rent.

Cancellations

In order to cancel a reservation you must notify us in writing. The following will be applied:

If the cancellation is received 30 days prior to the start of your accommodation AND OR your reservation was for a "long term stay" then we will refund the whole amount except a 125 euro service fee.

If the cancellation is received during the 30 days prior to the start of your accommodation, the school will charge the student the amount of €175.00 as service fee.

If the cancellation occurs 15 days prior to the start of the reservation, or while the accommodation is taking place we will not reimburse any amount paid.

erasmusincadiz has the right not to refund any accommodations fees to students who require a letter of registration for the purposes of obtaining a visa permit

Once in Cadiz... what do I have to pay?

For your first rent you will have to pay the actual monthly or weekly rent minus the 250 euro deposit & 1 month security deposit.

When will I get my 1 month security deposit back?

The deposit is refundable the day of departure.

When is due the monthly rent?

On the first day of everymonth - either by credit card, cash or through a bank wire.

What happens if I am late paying the rent?

You will have to pay a 20 euro penalty for every week you are late for a maximun of three weeks. If, after that, you have not paid you will be automatically expelled from the residence.

What do I have to bring to the residence?

Bed sheets for a single bed, towels for the washroom and a pillow case.

Are blankets provided?

Yes they are, but if you want to bring your own feel free to do so!!

If I am already in Cadiz, can I book a room?

Yes you can, simply call us at 34-956-252724 from 9:00 to 13:30 to schedule an appointment.

Force Majeure

When the cancellation or cancellation is due to "force majeure", all previous clauses in reference to reservation deposits refunds will be automatically voided and a voucher/coupon will be issued for the amount paid.

The voucher/coupon can be used within the year of the cancellation or the subsequent year after towards the booking of a course and accommodation.

Force majeure is understood as any event beyond the control of the parties of an unpredictable and unavoidable nature that prevents the client or the school from fulfilling any or all of the obligations set forth in the registration booking form.

Cases of force majeure or unpredictable events are considered those that would normally be recognized as such by the jurisprudence of the Spanish Legal System.

Disputes & Controversies

In the case of any dispute, controversy, grievance or difference that arises or relates to the purchase, reservation, or usage, and is not contemplated in the General Conditions page, then it will be resolve and decided in the Arbitrary Court of the Cadiz Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Cadiz. The language use in the arbitration will be Spanish. The place for the arbitration will be in the city of Cadiz.

If, the Cadiz Chamber of Commerce finds it self for any reason in the impossibility of arbitrating among the two parts then, the arbitration will be resolved in the Cadiz Court of Law abiding to all laws and regulations of the Spanish Government.
